By downloading or using the BillRig mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use BillRig.
1. Service Description
BillRig is a mobile invoicing and payments tool for contractors. It helps you create estimates, generate invoices, collect payments, and manage client information. BillRig is a software tool, not a financial institution, accounting firm, or legal advisor.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business in your jurisdiction to use BillRig. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Subscription and Billing
- BillRig offers a free tier with core features and a paid Pro plan with additional capabilities
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually at the rate displayed at the time of purchase
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store, Google Play, or by contacting hello@billrig.com
- Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play refund policies
- BillRig reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
4. Payment Processing
- Payments are processed by Square, Inc., not by BillRig
- BillRig never handles, stores, or transmits credit card numbers
- Square's terms of service govern all payment transactions: squareup.com/legal/general/ua
- Payment disputes, chargebacks, and refunds are handled through Square
5. Compliance Features
BillRig includes informational compliance features (FTC cooling-off notices, state deposit cap warnings). These are informational aids, not legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring your business practices comply with applicable laws. Consult a licensed attorney for legal guidance.
6. Your Data
- You own your business data (clients, estimates, invoices, photos)
- You grant BillRig a license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the service
- You can export your data (CSV export) or request full account deletion at any time
- See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling
7. Intellectual Property
The BillRig name, logo, and application are the property of BillRig LLC. You may not use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary materials without written permission. Your use of BillRig does not grant you any ownership rights in the application or its underlying technology.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use BillRig for illegal activity
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
- Use the service to send spam or fraudulent invoices
9. Availability and Offline Mode
- BillRig is designed to work offline; data syncs when connectivity is restored
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or zero data loss
- You should maintain your own records as a backup
10. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of BillRig shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in King County, Washington, or remotely at your election.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with BillRig on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against BillRig LLC.
Small Claims Exception: Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court in King County, Washington, as an alternative to arbitration.
12. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing hello@billrig.com
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Al descargar o usar la aplicación móvil BillRig, aceptas estos Términos de servicio. Léelos con atención. Si no estás de acuerdo, no uses BillRig.
1. Descripción del servicio
BillRig es una herramienta móvil de facturación y cobros para contratistas. Te ayuda a crear cotizaciones, generar facturas, cobrar pagos y administrar la información de tus clientes. BillRig es una herramienta de software, no una institución financiera, firma contable ni asesor legal.
2. Elegibilidad
Debes tener al menos 18 años y estar legalmente autorizado para operar un negocio en tu jurisdicción para usar BillRig. Al crear una cuenta, declaras que cumples con estos requisitos.
3. Suscripción y facturación
- BillRig ofrece un plan gratuito con funciones básicas y un plan Pro de pago con funciones adicionales
- Las suscripciones Pro se cobran mensual o anualmente al precio mostrado en el momento de la compra
- Las suscripciones se renuevan automáticamente a menos que se cancelen al menos 24 horas antes del final del periodo de facturación
- Puedes cancelar tu suscripción en cualquier momento a través del App Store, Google Play o escribiendo a hello@billrig.com
- Los reembolsos se manejan según las políticas de reembolso del App Store de Apple y Google Play
- BillRig se reserva el derecho de cambiar los precios con 30 días de aviso previo a los suscriptores existentes
4. Procesamiento de pagos
- Los pagos son procesados por Square, Inc., no por BillRig
- BillRig nunca maneja, almacena ni transmite números de tarjeta de crédito
- Los términos de servicio de Square rigen todas las transacciones de pago: squareup.com/legal/general/ua
- Las disputas de pago, contracargos y reembolsos se manejan a través de Square
5. Funciones de cumplimiento
BillRig incluye funciones informativas de cumplimiento (avisos de cancelación de la FTC, alertas de límites de anticipo por estado). Estas son ayudas informativas, no asesoría legal. Tú eres responsable de asegurar que las prácticas de tu negocio cumplan con las leyes aplicables. Consulta a un abogado con licencia para orientación legal.
6. Tus datos
- Tú eres dueño de tus datos comerciales (clientes, cotizaciones, facturas, fotos)
- Otorgas a BillRig una licencia para almacenar, procesar y transmitir tus datos únicamente para proporcionar el servicio
- Puedes exportar tus datos (exportación CSV) o solicitar la eliminación completa de tu cuenta en cualquier momento

7. Propiedad intelectual
El nombre, logotipo y aplicación de BillRig son propiedad de BillRig LLC. No puedes usar nuestras marcas registradas, imagen ni materiales propietarios sin permiso por escrito. El uso de BillRig no te otorga ningún derecho de propiedad sobre la aplicación ni su tecnología subyacente.
8. Uso aceptable
Aceptas no:
- Usar BillRig para actividades ilegales
- Intentar acceder a los datos de otros usuarios
- Realizar ingeniería inversa, descompilar o alterar la aplicación
- Usar el servicio para enviar spam o facturas fraudulentas
9. Disponibilidad y modo sin conexión
- BillRig está diseñado para funcionar sin conexión; los datos se sincronizan cuando se restablece la conectividad
- No garantizamos 100% de disponibilidad ni cero pérdida de datos
- Debes mantener tus propios registros como respaldo
10. Limitación de responsabilidad
Nuestra responsabilidad total no excederá el monto que pagaste por el servicio en los 12 meses anteriores a la reclamación.
11. Resolución de disputas y arbitraje
Cualquier disputa derivada de estos Términos o del uso de BillRig se resolverá mediante arbitraje individual vinculante administrado por la Asociación Americana de Arbitraje (AAA) bajo sus Reglas de Arbitraje para Consumidores. El arbitraje se llevará a cabo en el condado de King, Washington, o de forma remota a tu elección.
Renuncia a acción colectiva: Aceptas resolver disputas con BillRig solo de forma individual. Renuncias a cualquier derecho de participar en una acción colectiva, de clase o representativa contra BillRig LLC.
Excepción de reclamos menores: Cualquiera de las partes puede presentar reclamos que califiquen en un tribunal de reclamos menores en el condado de King, Washington, como alternativa al arbitraje.
12. Terminación
- Puedes eliminar tu cuenta en cualquier momento desde Configuración o escribiendo a hello@billrig.com
- Podemos suspender o terminar cuentas que violen estos términos
- Al terminar, tus datos se eliminarán en un plazo de 30 días
13. Cambios a los términos
Podemos actualizar estos términos. Los cambios importantes se comunicarán mediante notificación en la app o por correo electrónico al menos 14 días antes de entrar en vigor. El uso continuado después de los cambios constituye aceptación.
14. Ley aplicable
Estos términos se rigen por las leyes del estado de Washington, EE. UU., sin considerar principios de conflicto de leyes.
